Pet Airways

Both Southwest Airlines and JetBlue announced they are taking reservations for pets on their airlines if your pet is small enough that you can take with you. You can place pet carrier under seat. But what if Pet is too big to fit under seat? Its off to Cargo for them, in Southwest case no where b/c they dont take pets in cargo. There is an alternative! PetAirways.com your pet will fly in main cabin watched over by a pet attendant and be his/her own spacious crate. The airline was created by Alyssa Binder and her husband, being pet lovers as they are, wanted to create an airline specifically for pets. Starting from $149 one way, from west coast to east coast, these jets have crates instead of seats and you can track your pet while in flight.
